We start with a thorough video analysis of your stroke so you understand exactly what's stopping you from swimming further without getting winded, having your shoulders burn, or feeling like your legs are dragging. No more guessing why you can only swim 100-200 meters before needing a break. You'll learn exactly what needs fixing as we break down 3-5 specific stroke faults we see in your stroke, help you understand what efficient technique looks like, and give you the exact drills to fix each issue.

This coaching is specifically designed for Age Group triathletes who struggle with swimming endurance and are looking to get faster. We do not work with children or Masters swimmers wanting to race Butterfly, Backstroke or Breastroke. We’ve spent many years learning and refining our craft working with AG triathletes that swim between 2.20 - 1.30/100.
Yes. Approximately 50% of our clients have a triathlon coach in addition to working with SwimFast. Swimming is a sport unlike running and cycling. Our detailed-oriented approach and the coaching process we've built over the last 10 years working online has allowed us to tailor and refine this process in a way that is very difficult for a coach looking after 3 different disciplines to do.
No. Our approach to coaching isn't just the about the workouts. It's not just main sets and a series of drills. When we coach, we teach. We want you to learn as much as possible about moving through the water, improving your stroke and preparing for races, but more than that we want to equip you to handle it all on your own. We've got clients that have been with me for years, but that's because they choose to (and we have a great relationship) not because they feel like they can't swim without us.
Most clients see noticeable improvements in endurance within 4-6 weeks. You'll start swimming further without stopping, feel less winded, and gain confidence in the water. However, building the full endurance to swim 1.2 miles comfortably typically takes 3-4 months of consistent training.
Absolutely. We specialize in breaking down complex swimming technique into simple, clear instructions. All of our drill videos show you exactly what to do, and we provide crystal-clear feedback that's easy to understand and implement. No swimming jargon or confusing technical language.
While 3 swims per week is ideal for building endurance, we can work with your schedule. However, progress will be a little slower with only 2 sessions. We'll need to make each workout count and may need to extend your timeline to reach your goals or adjust your race day expectations.
You'll need access to a pool, basic swim gear (goggles, cap, fins), and a smart watch (Garmin, Suunto, Polar, Coros, or Wahoo) to track your workouts. We'll let you know if any specific training tools would be helpful for your particular technique issues.
We'll focus on building your pool endurance and technique first. Once you're swimming confidently in the pool, we can address open water skills and race-specific preparation. Many of our clients start nervous about open water and finish feeling completely confident on race day.
The 1-1 Private Coaching Sessions are a cherry on top if you live in Dubai. These are 60 minute sessions held at the Burj Club inside the Burj Khalifa in downtown on weekday mornings from 6-7am, 7-8am and 8-9am. These 1-1 sessions simply reinforce the focus set in your weekly workouts with real time, face to face feedback. Sessions are AED 375/hour. We will organize these once you are signed up.
For this 1-on-1 online coaching to work effectively, you must:
Be at least 20 years old
Be willing to work hard and show your coach consistency
Communicate with your coach regularly about your progress
Commit to a minimum of 3 months
Own a Garmin, Suunto, Polar, Coros or Wahoo watch
Have access to a pool at least 3 times per week
